Fri Oct 22, 1999, 9-4 Rancho Rinconada, Cupertino $100 | Peer abuse, bullying, disrespect, and intolerance are everyday occurrences in many of today's schools. In this workshop, Marie-Nathalie will explore how disrespectful behaviors can be addressed where they occur - in the classroom. Going beyond the traditional approach of working individually with the victims or perpetrators of disrespect, Marie-Nathalie will present videotaped examples of a program she pioneered in local schools, entitled, "The Bugging Bug" - a program that mobilizes the entire class to fight disrespect together. |
